Week 37…
The time is here for this baby to show his or her face. It is starting to become real. I think I am a little in shock. Funny but it didn’t seem that real before. Now it dawns on me, soon I will have 3 kids. Yikes. Yes, bursing a newborn, taking a preschooler to and from school and helping my older daughter with schoolwork seems a bit overwhelming right now.
I will have to become a pro at the one armed nursing. You know, nursing the baby with one arm while doing something else with the other. A mom has no choice but to mulittask.
Anyway, I feel so uncomfortable and now I am experiencing soemthing I never had before. The baby’s foot is under my rib which I expect, however, the spot on my abdomen right outside of the foot has a little rash. I am so itchy! I also feel pain in my back directly behind where the baby’s foot is. Not cool babycakes.
We are having Thanksgiving at our house. I’ll be 38 weeks exactly. I am trying to go into labor that day, lol. Honestly though I am hoping now that I can make it til then. Last week I was having a lot of contractions and other symptoms that made me think I was going into real labor any second. They stopped for a few days and now things are happening again. I would really like to have Thanksgiving so now I am “crossing my legs” til Thursday.
Hopefully this baby will be born soon. My shirts are getting soaked again and I’d like to have a reason for it!
