You still need to continue taking care of your diet, not drinking or smoking, etc. You need to learn techniques to latch your baby, your back hurts. Look sweetheart if you are ashamed of you own body, you are so wrong. You need culture.
I actually make a point of not "hiding away" to breastfeed; not because I want attention or to "put on a show", but to help educate the next generation. If I can show my 2 year old son that it's normal to (discreetly) breastfeed his baby sister when she's hungry, he learns that it's just part of life! It's not an activity to be ashamed of, or to make a big fuss about. It's what breasts are for. I like to think that in 20+ years, my son and his peers will encourage & support their partners to opt for breastfeeding their own babies.

I work for a chiropractor and I must agree that most people see and feel what adjustments they get and say Hell NO I am not doing that to my baby. They have to understand that baby/infant adjustments last only a minute or two and are NOTHING like the adjustments that we get as adults.

Pain is the last symptom you feel and the first to go away. Just because there you are no longer in pain, does not mean that the problem is fixed. It took you quite a while to get that way, its going to take a while to get it corrected too! I had regular migraines for most of my life. They got much worse about a year ago and were increasing in frequency and pain. With meds not working anymore and the regular docs not giving me anything thing else, I turned to Chiropractic. I heard a story from a friend....her dad had headaches everyday of his life until he got his adjustments, and has been fine ever since. So I figured it was worth a shot, and honestly, it worked!!!! I couldnt be happier!
Everyone should give chitopractic care a chance!

I would love to get lying-on-side nursing working. My twins just turned 2 months, and they are not good at it. They kick, squirm, get frustrated. They won't open their mouths wide when they're on their side confronted by my breast, so I'm essentially trying to insert my nipple in their mouth and I get a shallow latch. Needs lots of advice, thanks!

I know that when some women have lower milk supply the pump does not work as well. Also your let-down can be a lot shorter or non-existent without your baby latched on. Your body can tell when it's not your baby and thus not give off as much milk.
I however have had great luck with my medela pump. But sometimes I do notice I will pump for about 15 minutes or untill my milk seems to stop...but then if i were to nurse immediately my body would give more milk to my baby. Again its just your let down is stronger with your baby on. So If a women has not as much milk it could result in pumping difficulty or her let down just won't happen with the pump.

I had a baby on Jan 6th, and have been nursing since birth. At the hospital he was having normal number of wet and dirty diapers. Since we have been home he has continued to have several wet diapers daily but no bowel movements. It is my understanding that he should be having a few a day at this stage. We have an appointment with the pediatrician tomorrow afternoon. Do I need to be concerned today? Should we go to the ER (it's Sunday- the dr is closed). He seems to be latching on properly, positioning ok, and I hear suck/ swallow noises. But he seems to be eating constantly and causing me to have sore/ cracking nipples. Please help if you can with any advice. My cell number is 330.717.2689 or you can email me at kellywarren3@gmail.com Thanks, Kelly
